Oakhurst is located in the southwest section of the City of Decatur. Oakhurst is a highly sought after walkable neighborhood, adorned by 100-year old trees, sidewalks, porch swings and anchoring business district- Oakhurst Village. Oakhurst features Arts and Crafts bungalows, a few early ranch-style homes and new construction replicating the Arts and Crafts period. Oakhurst is also home to three of Decatur’s nine city parks, offering lighted softball fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, grassy play areas, playgrounds, covered picnic facilities, and an outdoor swimming pool.
